Directive

Everyone is wanting to see the store. i haven't posted any pictures yet because it's not completely done. we have been working extremely hard but things are slow going and we have ran into some problems. anyway it's just hard having everyone see the store because everyone wants to put their two cents in. which is fine the store just isnt' done. i just want everyone to be aware that we know there are some things missing...or unfinished. soon it will be done hopefully early October. because that is when all the snow things come and the store is super busy. so here are the pictures for now hope you enjoy! if you have any fun ideas let me know!

here is the outside of shop. we have a banner up for our sign because our real one is apparently against code....but we are getting a new one this week. oh and the store is part of a little strip mall right in front of walmart so we are in a perfect location. and do you see the storm trouper in the front window....just keep him in mind for a moment k

this is what the store looks like when you first walk in. it's long and narrow. and a little dark because we still have to put up more lights

these next picture are of the right side of store in order of front to back. so first we have the skate things. skateboard are all hung from the wall. part of it's empty because we a had a super busy day yesterday and apparently a lot of people want to buy skateboards before winter hits i guess. and then the glass case holds bearings, trucks and wheels. and the desk to the right is where zach puts the skates together...its called a complete i learned that ;)

this is our front desk. it's gigantic and awesome. our renaissance manfriend Holland built it for us. he builds custom cabinets. the design you see on front the rectangle with the circle square....do you recognize it from anywhere.......... that is the design that storm troopers from star wars have on the back of their helmets. cool huh. anyway that's where are logo comes from. i guess everything can be traced back to the force! and zach and his mom are sitting at the computer. she is setting up our point of sale system for us. and that peg board above their head is not complete. it's going to be larger in a cool design and mostly hold skull candy head phones because they are way bomb and made close to home in park city!but very expensive. (great sound) and it will hold socks and snowboarding gloves...

these are glass cases that are currently holding skull candy headphones. and stickers, wax, magazines....blah blah blah. they aren't staying there though. i think we are putting up more clothing bars there to hold winter stuff when it comes next month.

this is our shoe rack. it was also custom built by HOLLAND. it's fantastic. but it too is going to be enlarged

another view of the shoe rack. and check out our t.v it's a 50 in. plasma. we made a deal with lyns audio and video that if they let us use their tv they can advertise it came from their store. so they hooked us up. however as soon as the store is moved around we are getting an even better one mounted on the wall! SWEET and we even have an x box and an old school Nintendo here for everyone to play video games. they little kids love us. haha and zach loves to play when no one is in the store. that is jake his younger brother playing it in the pic.

the wall to the left is going to hold something i don't remember though. anyway the hallway at the end of the picture has some rooms in it. all of which we built. the first door on the left is the dressing room the next door is the bathroom ( i keep it clean) the back door the grey one leads outside. and outside we keep a ramp and some rails for the kids to skate in our back parking lot. there are never cars out there because the rest of the parking lot it the back end of walmart. and walmart goers never pack in the back end of the parking lot because they don't believe in exercise. and there is one more door to the right. it's a open room where zach waxes and fixes people snowboards. (prob the busiest room in the winter) and there are more things in this pic i should explain but i will in min. so if you can't see what im talking about just go back and look at this picture.

now we are to the other (left) side of the shop. these two things of clothes are guy clothes. and the plant came from grandma shepherd she gave it to us for a shop warming present

this is our hat rack that also houses knee pads and things. our friends allen's dad gave it to us.

this is the girl clothes. oh i forgot to mention the fixtures on the wall that hold all the clothes are custom also we had a plumer Friends (MITCH) make them out of metal pluming pipe. so that is fun. .....there are other things in the middle of the of floor that hold clothes but i didn't take pictures of them ( you can see them in the second picture though)

haha this pic is just of part of the one of glass cases. where i put the things that i make. well for now... my things are called Beatrix. and soon i will have my own custom somethings or other to hold all my stuff. because my clothes i make are kind of stuck in with the other girl things. so that will be exciting for me.

the door you see is a storage room.that hold all the shoe sizes. the latter goes up to zach office and from the office you can access the rest of the storage. there is a bridge over to the far right that leads to second story storage where we keep snowboard and boot rentals. for people to rent in the winter. however we ran into inspection problems (not our fault) and we can't have a second story because there can't be a roof on the rooms we built so that will be a big change.

this is the view from the office. sorry it's dark.

well there is the store. it's lot of work and even though sometime i don't like it. it's been fun getting things started and by fun i mean exciting. i'm so proud of zach for putting the time and dedication into the shop to get it open he loves directive and it's been a big part of his life since he was 16. and now he is the owner. just goes to show if you want something and you are in the situation to put the time into it you can have what you want. i love you zach. and a gigantic thanks to everyone that has helped. i have never seen such a group of dedicated friends. thank you so much. and i hope in the future everyone will have the chance to come see it in person!
